The second river we row on the Four Rivers in Ireland trip is River Nore. Tides determine whether we begin or end in New Ross or Inostioge. The day requires a small section of the Barrow as well as the charming Nore. The river is the most intimate of our four, as it cuts its narrow winding route among high green hills. Inistioge is picture perfect – so much so that it has been the set for many a film. As for après-row, there is a charming pub where you can relax, or you can take a vigorous walk over Brandon Hill to return to Graiugenamanagh.
