We are delighted that well known and well respected Coach Marlene Royle (www.roylerow.com) has developed a custom 12-week Rowing Tour Training Plan. Available for purchase directly from Marlene for US$75, the Plan is broken into five phases.
The program notes describe how the workouts in your training program are designed and answer some common questions. Workouts can be applied to either ergometer or on-water training. The program employs a “back-to-back” method of long rows on the weekend to simulate two tour days in a row. Monday and Friday are recovery days with easy training or complete rest.
